The Wage Claim Clinic at the Workplace Justice Project fights for just working conditions through education, litigation and advocacy. Volunteers are needed to assist with fact gathering, letter writing, as well as educational and outreach opportunities.

Service learners will be able to assist with variety of tasks and roles based on their interests: Perform fact checking/investigation, letter writing, interpretation (bilingual proficiency required), website maintenance, administrative/clerical tasks, education and outreach.
Students will learn about the issues facing low wage workers in New Orleans and what remedies they have while getting opportunities to practice investigative techniques, become acquainted with public record resources, and refine their writing skills.

- Complete online training documents (provided by the agency)
